Art on Sneakers is the brain child of a mother and son, Latt & Denise, they have been offering today's hottest styles for some time now. Latt is our design consultant, painter, salesman and quality control person. He will not allow any sneaker to leave our shop that is not up to the standard of the ones he sets for himself. He is also a collector of custom designed and painted sneakers. He has been drawing comic book characters since he was five years of age, and has progressed admirably since then. At the age of 10 Latt was assisting with the design and preparation of the ceramic items at his Mom's (Denise) Ceramic Manufacturing Co. Denise became interested in art when art classes were mandatory in the primary schools. In High School, as part of the class curriculum, she had to enter State and Local art contests. As a result of that, she won first prize in an Art in Opera contest and her design was used on the cover of the playbill for the Broadway production of "Carmen". She also won a City wide Dental Poster contest. Denise has also owned and operated a ceramic manufacturing business where she made and designed ceramic molds of all kinds, reproduced antique ceramics, designed picture frames, painted on tiles for back splashes to match existing wall paper and much, much more.
